On a personal note, my wife has left me. For two weeks or so while she visits her sister-in-law. I'm fending for myself. Not a big deal. I did the bachelor thing for several years before I got married. I can cook if necessary, do dishes, and I've been in charge of laundry since we were married. The only drawback is that those chores will take time away from my writing.

The Mississippi River Writers Conference will be held on Oct. 3 at the library in Freeport, Illinois. I will be there!! As a speaker, not just an attendee. I had my book signing this morning. It was disappointing. I sold one book...and gave one to the PDC library. At least I have two left to give to kids & grandkids. |
