Hello, goodbye. No, stop, make that hello, and see you later. My apologies for not adding to this earlier and not adding to it again until, possibly, the first of February. But I have good reasons...or excuses, as you prefer.
My wife is still having health issues so that demands time that obviously would not (and did not) when she's healthy. But the biggest reason is that I'm working very hard on another writing project and there's a deadline.
Intro: Besides the two fantasy novels, Prophecy of Honor and Witchery, and the paranormal romance I'm working on, Saving Atlantis, I have a two-volume commercial fiction novel written titled Just Lucky: Friends and Enemies and Just Lucky: Love and Hate. Several publishers have declined these books (declined is such a nicer word than rejected) because the market seems to be limited. It's meant as a guys' novel but it's not really about sports. However, they have rated the writing as good enough for publication.
Well, there's a novel contest running and the deadline for submission is January 31. I decided that Friends and Enemies would benefit from a complete edit with manuscript editing software (I use ProWriting Aid). The novel is about 107,000 words before the edit, so it takes a while. That's what I will be devoting all my writing time to until it's finished or the deadline passes.
So, this will be my last entry here until then.
And for those of you that read the Mascot Serial, that also will be set aside until this project is done.
I thank you all for dropping buy, I apologize again for not devoting more time this month to the website, and I hope you'll all come back around 2/1/16. Wishes for good luck with the project would also be appreciated.
